Beautiful Sunny afternoon at Jhalong, Jalpaiguri , - Watercolor painting on paper

Sharing another painting based on Himalayan foothills near Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. The strong light of the late afternoon is the main attraction in this composition. Very happy with the final outcome. Hope you all celebrated Diwali 2017 happily and safely.

This is a composition based on a local market on the way to Mirik from Siliguri. I have used watercolor and pen for this work. Hill top markets are one of my favourite subject.
